UNO Selects Contracting Team to Build New $15 Million School Facility
The United Neighborhood Organization (UNO) would like to congratulate the team selected to design and build the new UNO elementary school. The design build team includes STL Architects as the master planner of the identified site and GHAFARI in partnership with Juan Gabriel Moreno Architects.
UNO received a $98 million allocation from the Illinois state legislature in May of 2009 to build new schools in neighborhoods that have suffered from severe school overcrowding. UNO prides itself in being able to build schools at a faster and more inexpensive manner than the traditional models of building public schools.
