Harris Bank: North and Lavergne
- Chicago, Illinois | 2003
- Branch Bank Prototype
- Type: Commercial
- Client Harris Trust and Savings and Bank
- Concept New Technologies and Alternative Marketing
To increase the presence of Harris Bank outside the greater downtown area of Chicago, this branch bank prototype consolidates personal banking services in a small facility on a corner site at a prominent intersection in a culturally and ethnically diverse underserved neighborhood. Rather than relying on architectural elements to embody a corporate identity, an unarticulated continuous glazed facade employs lenticular technology to provide the opportunity for a continuous and mutable display of marketing, easily visible by pedestrian and vehicular traffic from moderate distances.
