Housing in Chicago A

The project is a residential building in Chicago with focus on sustainability. The design approach relies on available technologies in order to capitalize on the ability of the building to produce energy on site while micromanaging its use with advanced digital Building Automation Systems. Technologies used on the project include the on-site production of renewable energy through photo-voltaic surfaces and wind turbines, geothermal ground source heat transfer, electronic day lighting controls and occupancy, etc.
