Six station dialysis clinic to be located within Morelia’s Hospital in Mexico. The design revolves around the possibilities for reuse and transportation of the equipment within the clinic. Consequently the equipment and in particular the nurse station became the ubiquitous identifier regardless of the clinic’s location within the hospital. The station is anchored to floor and ceiling by a single steel post which also carries electrical and data connections to the heart of the piece. Conceived to hold all electronic and physical patient data the nurse station could adopt a variety of configurations to accommodate potentially challenging room shapes.
