Senior Designer

Jose Luis, aka “Pepe”, arrived from Madrid, Spain during a cold Chicago winter in January, where he began his career at STL. He graduated from Escuela Tecnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid as a licensed architect, where he excelled in design work. He took his expertise to STL and has spent endless hours perfecting the art. Pepe took a small hiatus from STL to study for his Masters degree in Advance Architecture Design at Columbia University in the New York City, but found himself right back where he started, in Chicago and at STL. As the Senior Designer at STL, Pepe is currently leading the design team for international competitions.

During his free time, Pepe enjoys watching his fellow Spanish countrymen win various sports titles all around the world, and he never gets sick of seeing the Spanish flag waving in the background of championship awards presentations. Pepe is also a very competitive player in any game or sport, so don’t expect him to back down or let you win when you challenge him.
