112 W Oak St Tower

Located in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood, Oak Street is Chicago’s most vibrant and luxury commercial street. It is notable for its numerous luxury goods shops, upscale spas, restaurants, and residences. It features fashion iconic stores such as Prada, Tom Ford, Armani and Jill Sanders as well as other high end jewelry boutiques such as Graff, Bucellatti and Geneva Seal. The residences along Oak street are demanded by clients willing to spend more money for the privilege of living in Oak Street in close proximity to Michigan Avenue and its celebrated Magnificent Mile. The Oak Street Development has been conceived to be a unique building in the heart of the Gold Coast. The 50 story tower features duplex condominiums occupying entire floors which enables a complete 360 degree view of the immediate neighborhood. Due to the tower’s height amidst the lower residential projects in the immediate vicinity the condominiums are also able to enjoy views of nearby Lake Michigan. The tower will be comprised of 30 residential floors, with one and two condominiums per floor and will feature luxury amenities and diverse support facilities including a dramatic infinity pool located at the roof of the tower with views of the entire city. Due to the geometric constraints of the site, the parking facility associated with the building had to be fitted within a very small floor plate. In order to meet this limiting factor, the garage has been designed as an automated parking structure which will be, when finalized, the first of its kind to be implemented in Chicago.
