STL Architects is seeking a passionate and design-driven Project Designer to join our dynamic team in Puerto Rico.
This role focuses on interior renovation projects within retail and corporate sectors, offering the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, community-oriented spaces. From schematic design through construction administration, the Project Designer will play a key role in translating client standards into thoughtful, high-quality design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop schematic designs that align with project goals, brand standards, and functional requirements.
• Translate client standards into cohesive design solutions that reflect both aesthetic and operational needs.
• Produce and coordinate design documentation through all phases, including design development, construction documents, and specifications.
• Participate in site visits, coordination meetings, and construction administration activities to ensure design intent is maintained throughout execution.
• Work closely with consultants, contractors, and vendors to resolve design-related issues and support project delivery.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends, materials, and technologies to inform innovative and cost-effective design solutions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in interior design or architectural projects, with a focus on retail or corporate renovations.
• Proficiency in design software such as Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Rhino.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and detailing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
