LYCEE FRANCAIS DE CHICAGO

This 86,000 sf project is located in the Lincoln Square neighborhood of Chicago, an urban and dense enclave with intense community activities. The Lycee Francais is a pre-K, through 12th grade building designed for a population of 800 students. The program includes state of the art Classrooms, an Atrium and extensive Athletic facilities. When completed, the project will be LEED certified.

The Lycee established ambitious objectives for the project, desiring to create a campus with a bold and inspiring design within the constraints of financial frugality. STL’s design takes advantage of a large urban site in which to accommodate an academic campus environment with two independent but connected pavilions for academic functions and performance arts. The campus also includes recreational areas and a soccer field.
