The project features a classic, dark Chicago style brick. The windows and facade openings are anchored by continuous dark steel frames which provide the building’s facade with depth and chromatic continuity. A key highlight of the design is the structure-free northeast corner window which visually connects the building’s tenants with the entire neighborhood and vice versa, recovering a long tradition in Chicago for addressing with design determination the unique corner conditions that angled streets such as Lincoln generate.

Located at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Cornelia Street, this residential and retail building is
located in the heart of one of the most vibrant neighborhoods in Chicago. The site is in close proximity to
the Paulina “L” Train station stop making this development a Transit Oriented Development in accordance
with City of Chicago regulations.

The developmental incentives offered by the city are directed towards boosting neighborhood centric,
residential development in order to create more affordable housing opportunities throughout Chicago. A
key highlight of the design is the structure-free northeast corner window which visually connects the building’s
tenants with the entire neighborhood and vice versa, recovering a long tradition in Chicago for addressing
