In order to situate the new annex on the already constrained site, the length of the new building is extended to better fit the proportions of the site while also introducing a shared courtyard between the two schools. This courtyard allows for a protected social learning space for children to play outdoors. Programmatically, the annex is split into an administration wing and an instructional wing. The classrooms in this instructional wing are organized along a partially double-loaded corridor that opens to the shared courtyard, allowing ample daylight to fill the interior of the school.
